The core ELMS:LN team has been hard at work on our studio submission application the last month. In addition to getting the semester started for PSU core developers, there's been a lot of improvements in usability and stability of the platform as awhole. It's been awhile since we showcased the state of everything and so, to kick off our ELMS Makers web-series, we decided to give an overview of the state of.. well... everything.
What follows is a random walk through the platform as it stands today, descriptions from Michael Potter (Front-end Lead) and Bryan Ollendyke (Project Lead) as to where things are heading in the next few months, and some glimpses of the rather insane accessibility enhancements in the platform (like continuous listening support).
This is the most comprehensive tour of the platform, what it does, and what it can do while showing real live courses, data sets and usability patterns experienced in production environments. Things are looking bright, but the best is yet to come!
UPDATE 2: 0.7.0 has been released!
